After completing his PhD in bioinformatics in 2015, Jörg Hagmann continued working in this field and gained profound expertise in analyzing various kinds of genomic sequencing data. As the developer and Product Manager of Computomics’ interactive pangenome browser Pantograph, he leverages the genomic information from multiple individuals – a pangenome – to reveal complex genetic variation and link it to traits. Jörg utilizes genomic data to improve plant breeding and to help answer scientific questions primarily in crop genetics.
