Echoleah Rufer, PhD

Dr. Rufer is a board-certified toxicologist and Director of Health Sciences at PAX leading the team charged with ensuring the safety of PAX products. Previously, Echo worked as the Principal Toxicologist at Apple, where she conducted toxicological assessments on products and supported chemical substitution programs. She also served as a Senior Toxicologist at P&G, where she designed safety programs and ensured that numerous global billion dollar brands including Gillette, Olay, SK-II, and others were safe for consumers. Echo received her B.S. in Pharmacology & Toxicology and her Ph.D. in Molecular & Environmental Toxicology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
