Sareeta N. Nerkar is a Research Chemist at Pickering Laboratories, Inc. Born in Mumbai, India; Sareeta earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from University of Mumbai. Her research area was studying the stability constants of complexes of Divalent and Rare Earth Metals with substituted Salicynals. Further studies with regards to complexes possessing antibacterial, antitubercular, antifungal and anticoagulant activity were reported.

In 2002, Sareeta began working as a Research Chemist at Pickering laboratories, Inc.  She is responsible for HPLC method development and enjoys her work. Since 2003, she has been working on the Multiresidue method for simultaneous analysis of mycotoxins in feeds and raw grains. Her recent work includes developing new analytical methods for Sulfonamide Artificial sweeteners in Food Products, for the analysis of Voglibose, and for Alendronic Acid in Pharmaceutical Formulations.
