After graduating with her M.Sc. degree in Horticulture from NC State University, Rachel Edwards began her career at SunMed Growers in Maryland as a propagation specialist focused on large scale production of Cannabis Sativa. She continued her career in Colorado with Altman Plants in a 32-acre floriculture greenhouse as a propagation section grower. Then she re-entered the cannabis industry for a position as research and development manager with Statehouse Holdings in California. Now she is pioneering the research and development program focused on improving cultivation and post-harvest practices, as well as managing relationships with breeders and trialing new cannabis varieties.
