Jack Lamont is a grower and plant scientist with over a decade’s experience in horticulture. Before diving into the Cannabis industry, Jack worked as a graduate researcher on several projects focused on sustainable greenhouse and nursery plant production. He has brought his expertise in controlled environment agriculture to lead cultivation departments in Canada and The United States. Jack applies established horticultural science to commercial cannabis production while continuously striving to improve production and quality through experimentation. Jack embraces any opportunity to share his passion for plants with others. He has help train the next generation of horticulturists by leading lab courses in plant identification, sustainable agriculture and greenhouse management. Additionally, he has reached a broader audience through several articles for scientific journals and trade publications. Jack also enjoys exploring and tinkering with biology in his spare time through gardening, composting, fermenting and foraging.
