In his role as Fluence principal scientist, Dr. David Hawley has been instrumental in designing and implementing the company’s global research strategy, which encompasses studies on multiple vine crops, leafy greens and medical cannabis around the world. Fluence’s research has uncovered numerous insights into plant response to broad-spectrum lighting solutions, including improved crop yield, morphology and overall performance in selected cultivars when compared to narrow-band spectra with high ratios of red and far-red wavelengths.
