Quantitation of 11 Cannabinoids by GC-FID

In this study, 11 cannabinoids were analyzed in hemp and cannabis flower samples by GC/FID. A simple methanolic extraction and filtration process was performed on ~500mg of flower sample. Hemp and cannabis flower matrix were also spiked to evaluate matrix recoveries. The composition percentage of the cannabinoids in each sample were compared to the reported values that were calculated by LC/UV.
